Description of problem: I'd like to request that snoopy, the command line logger (https://github.com/a2o/snoopy), be added to EPEL-7 if anyone is willing to maintain it. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): CentOS 7.0.1406 How reproducible: Attempt to install snoopy package from EPEL via yum. Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum install snoopy Actual results: Package not found Additional info: As far as I know, packages are only added to EPEL if someone is willing to maintain them. I believe this packages exists in and is kept up to date in Fedora's yum repository: http://mirrors.kernel.org/fedora/releases/20/Everything/x86_64/os/Packages/s/snoopy-1.9.0-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm Thanks.
An update to this: I created my own SPEC file and was planning to deploy this software until it made it into EPEL (or it was announced it wouldn't). It turned out that there is some unknown conflict with CentOS 7. I reported the bug here: https://github.com/a2o/snoopy/issues/28 It wouldn't be wise to spend time on this until that issue is resolved. Thanks
