Emacs 24.4 was just released: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2014-10/msg00713.html Can you please upgrade the emacs packages in Fedora 21 to that? It would be fantastic to have this new emacs version in Fedora 21 rather than waiting another ~8 months for an emacs upgrade. Thanks!
I am planning to do that for F21.
Oh, awesome! Thanks! I wasn't sure if F21 hitting beta means an emacs update is no longer allowed. So this is great news. Please let me know if you need any testers.
Created attachment 950667 [details] suggested patch Suggested patch for the master branch which makes emacs 24.4 building (http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=7941908). However, no more testing than just building of the package has been done.
