Thanks for a bug report. This looks like a very old bug #693297, I do not recall seeing it with 3.x versions. The crash happened in nss/nspr, but could be likely caused by the evolution's use of it. The only problem is reproducibility. Nonetheless, evolution 3.12.x doesn't use these functions anymore, it uses and relies on GIO's streams, thus this crash is be avoided in the current stable version, whcih is part of the upcoming Fedora 22.
