Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
Previously, failing to attach an ISO domain caused the SPM to fail over and start a new SPM election attempt. This behavior caused a potential failover storm if the domain itself was corrupted, leaving the system without an SPM for a prolonged time. With this update, a failed attempt to attach an ISO domain to a datacenter will trigger an error message, but will not cause the SPM to fail over.

A failure to attach an ISO domain back to the DC does not couse SPM failover:

IrsOperationFailedNoFailoverException: IRSGenericException: IRSErrorException: Failed to AttachStorageDomainVDS, error = Cannot obtain lock

Verified using rhev3.4.4 av13.1
