Description Tim Waugh 2014-10-26 17:08:27 UTC
Description of problem:
When an ODS file is marked as shared in Tools->Share Document..., accessing this file as different users works on the local (F19) machine but fails when accessing it from an F21 machine over sftp.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libreoffice-calc-4.3.2.2-5.fc21.x86_64
gvfs-1.22.1-2.fc21.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1 On F19 machine: set up group1 to consist of user1 and user2.
2.On F19 machine: create a directory owned by user1 with permissions 660, group owned by group1.
3.On F19 machine as user1: create new ODS file in that directory, marked as shared; close it
4.On F19 machine as user2: open the file with libreoffice calc; close it
5.On F21 machine with sftp connection to F19 machine as user2: repeat step 4

Actual results:
Step 4 succeeds
Step 5 fails

Expected results:
Both step 4 and step 5 should succeed.

Comment 1 Stephan Bergmann 2015-04-10 15:07:56 UTC
The Calc shared document mode only works for documents accessed via file URLs. I filed upstream feature request tdf#90552.
