Description Ed Gurski 2004-02-17 20:10:38 UTC
Description of problem: Trying to install 1.90 on a Compaq DL580 with
a SMART Array 5 controller. When
loading the "csiss" driver, it reports that I should reboot with apci=off.
However, when I restart anaconda, Icannot get past the disk portion
since it
does not detect any drives. I'm using this system with Core 1 stable
without any
problems. It looks like there is a bug in the driver.

NOTE:

It does detect that I have the SMART Array 5 controller and my 10/100/1000
Brioadcom NIC.

Yeah, cciss detection is broken in test1. Fixed in development/for test2.
