Description of problem: /usr/libexec/iptables/iptables.init tries to touch a lockfile in a non-existent directory. iptables.init[15595]: touch: cannot touch ‘/var/lock/subsys/iptables’: No such file or directory Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): iptables.x86_64 1.4.21-11.fc21 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum install iptables 2. systemctl disable firewalld 3. systemctl enable iptables 4. systemctl enable ip6tables 5. reboot Actual results: iptables fails to start properly which causes any local services that are dependent on iptables to not start at all Expected results: iptables starts correctly with a proper return code.
