Description Wolfgang Rupprecht 2014-11-06 10:17:45 UTC
Description of problem:

/usr/libexec/iptables/iptables.init tries to touch a lockfile in a non-existent directory.

iptables.init[15595]: touch: cannot touch ‘/var/lock/subsys/iptables’: No such file or directory

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
iptables.x86_64 1.4.21-11.fc21

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install iptables
2. systemctl disable firewalld
3. systemctl enable iptables
4. systemctl enable ip6tables
5. reboot

Actual results:
iptables fails to start properly which causes any local services that are dependent on iptables to not start at all

Expected results:
iptables starts correctly with a proper return code.
