Description Jim Tyrrell 2014-11-06 12:59:09 EST
Description of problem:
Impress: When highlighting these by a drag a box and highlight or clicking on them these automatically provided areas don't delete, cut, and or backspace key do not remove the element. You have to highlight only the text inside the box, and then you can delete it. Not intuitive at all.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mac 4.3.3

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Drag a box or click the element highlighting it
2. Try to delete it doing any number of standard key strokes.
3. Fail to delete item, write a sad panda email.

Actual results:

Expected results:
I should be able to delete an element w/o going crazy.
