When "continuous" mode is disabled any search (ctrl+f term enter) results in evince bringing up a list of matches, however the page with the found match is never presented. The visualized page is stuck to the page open at the time the search was started, clicking on up/down arrows on the side of the search bar or explicitly clicking in the left pane with the matches does nothing. As soon as you switch back to "continuous" mode, then arrows and left pane clicks bring you to the correct page where the term was found and highlighted. This is a regression.
Reported upstream at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=739612 and in Ubuntu at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1389159 Neither of those currently realize the bug is specific to when continuous is disabled.
