Description Lukas Svaty 2014-11-11 17:24:09 UTC
Description of problem:
'Internet explorer has stopped working' message appears after trying to connect to VM in 3.5 engine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Spice 5.0.3.5002
IE 10.0.9200.16384
rhevm-3.5 vt9

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log to user portal of 3.5 engine in Windows 8 (IE10)
2. Console options -> User SPICE browser plugin
3. Install SPICE plugin via ActiveX (successfull)
4. Try to log to VM

Actual results:
IE is not responding.
When logging with the same spice to 3.4 engine, spice console works correctly.

Expected results:
Spice console should work correctly in both 3.5 and 3.4 engine.

Hi Frantisek,

Note that there is another patch [3] on top of [2] you've mentioned.
Both patches are included in the src-rpm (we should really be looking
at spicex-win builds but it's the same there)

Were you able to reproduce ?
