There are 2 problems with USB Filter Editor msi location on rhn: 1. There is no Downloads tab for 3.4, as it used to be and there is no way for customers to find it and download it. 3.3: https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/channel/downloads/Download.do?cid=20703 Note the ISO's available under the Downloads tab. 3.4: https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/channels/details.pxt?cid=22210 Note - there is no Downloads tab. I searched by package search and could not find anything as well. 2. Insufficient and misleading documentation about where to get USBFilterEditor.msi: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.4/html-single/Administration_Guide/index.html#sect-The_USB_Filter_Editor It says - check Release Notes for additional info. Nothing there. I prefer to have a direct link to a location on customer portal where the customer would be able downloading this.

The description of this bug has nothing to do with this component. spice-usb=share-win was created to handle the 3rd party usb redirection. It is used the USB filter info, but The editor and the usbfilter.txt is owned by RHEVM. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1163517 ***
David, In the past you recommended me to open a bug anyway, and you would redirect it to the correct component. Current problem is where the customer is supposed to get this MSI? It is no-where in RHN. Compared to 3.3, where it was on RHEVM 3.3 downloading page. Now such thing does not exist. Which implies some change in a process, probably coming from your team and not updating some errata/documentation requests. Reopening and hopefully we can discuss this together with Spice + RHN + Docs teams and decide on the correct process. Thank you, Marina.
