Verification Failed. Verified in 5.3.2.5.20141218144833_50406a5. Drop down shows EU (Frankfrut), however adding the AWS credentials and validating it returns error message stating "Login failed due to a bad username or password."
I cannot reproduce this error locally.
Working with Greg B, we did reproduce on a appliance and he is working on debugging it.
Based on this stackoverflow message http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26604640/authentication-failure-for-eu-central-1-frankfurt-aws, it looks like this depends on an updated AWS SDK, which just happened to be updated in Upstream for a different reason (https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/pull/878). This updated AWS SDK gem has *not* been pulled in Downstream yet.
option there but requires a gem update meaning it will not work
