Description of problem: There is an option in rhsc-setup to enable monitoring. Even after enabling it rhsc-setup, user has to run manually run the auto-config for the first time. So its better to provide this info in the rhsc-setup summary section. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install rhsc 2. Run rhsc-setup and say 'Yes' for enabling monitoring 3. See the nagios ui Actual results: RHS nodes will not be monitored. Expected results: User may think that RHS Nodes will be monitored by saying yes in rhsc-setup. Additional info: Its better to give some command to run auto discovery instead of giving the whole path to discovery.py file.
Targeting for RHS 3.0.3 as decided in today's bug triage.
Verified as fixed in rhsc-setup-plugins-3.0.3-1.1.el6rhs.noarch If monitoring is configured to be enabled during rhsc-setup, the following is seen in the setup summary - [ INFO ] To enable monitoring, ensure the managed nodes are migrated to Red Hat Storage-3.0.Also make sure the auto discovery tool is executed to start monitoring the RHS Nodes, after the cluster nodes are added to Red Hat Storage Console. For detail, refer to RHSC Administration Guide. This is not seen if user refuses for external monitoring to be enabled.
I feel doc-text is not required for this as the message already comes in summary section post setup and nothing specific talk in document regarding summary message.
