Downgraded to 3.18.0-0.rc4.git1.2.fc22.1.x86_64 and that seems to solve the problem.

So the last pull request seems buggy. I am asking help on the upstream mailing-list (http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-input@vger.kernel.org/msg13294.html) to solve this.

Upstream is currently trying to understand the problem. They still need some information from you.

The commit which introduced the regression is related to some laptops that present a trackstick in addition to the touchpad. Does your laptop has a trackstick?

Also, can you precise which Samsung laptop model you have? (it his unclear according to the dmesg).

I have the same issue with a Lenovo Z50-70 laptop.

I do not know why *rc5* is reported in text,its *rc6*.

Indeed.  Should be fixed with the rawhide build I do today.

Installed *rc7* today and now scrolling is working without problem.
