Description Sean Earp 2004-02-23 06:20:21 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/124 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125

Description of problem:
On a clean install of FC2 Test 1, the /sbin directory is not set in the path variable for standard users (it IS for Root). As such, utilities such as ifconfig do not work out of the box. It is easy to workaround this problem by modifying the path in any number of ways, but /sbin should be part of the default path.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install FC2 Test 1
2.Log in
3.Run ifconfig from a terminal

Actual Results: ifconfig can not be found

Expected Results: ifconfig should run
