Description SATHEESARAN 2014-11-25 15:14:49 UTC
Description of problem:
-----------------------
Created a Shared Data center of compatibility 3.4 using the dialog window, when clicked on "NEW" under DATACENTER tab, using the "GuideMe" that followed after creating DATACENTER, created a gluster-cluster by clicking on the "Import existing gluster configuration".

But finally no gluster nodes are added to the cluster

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
-------------------------------------------------------------
av13.2 (RHEVM 3.4.4)

How reproducible:
-----------------
Always / Consistently reproducible

Steps to Reproduce:
--------------------
1. Click on "NEW" under "DATACENTER" tab
2. Provide the name for new datacenter and click on "OK" to create a new Datacenter
3. New dialog window (GuideMe window) opens up asking for cluster related information, helping us to create a cluster in the newly created datacenter
4. Provide the name for the cluster and check the "Import existing gluster configuration"
5. Click on "OK" to complete the cluster creation.

Actual results:
---------------
New dialog window should open asking for password for imported nodes in the cluster

Expected results:
-----------------
Cluster creation dialog box closes abruptly and no hosts are added to the cluster

Additional info:
----------------
The procedure works perfectly when I don't use the GuideMe window that popped automatically after creating the NEW DATACENTER

To put the steps here,
1. I have created the new DATACENTER
2. New dialog window popped up for helping me to create a cluster in that newly created datacenter in step1. Ignored this dialog box ( GuideMe window ) and closed it.
3. Click on "NEW" under "CLUSTER" tab
4. Checking on the "Import existing gluster configuration" workled perfectly

Step1 of creating DC

This is the first step of creating the datacenter

step2 of creating cluster, following the guideme window

This is the step that involves creation of gluster cluster. Note that this dialog window automatically popped up after creating the datacenter. Here "Import existing gluster configuration" is checked

step3 - this is against expectation

On clicking on "OK" on creating cluster , it landed up here in this dialog.
No host is added to the cluster also
