Description Jan Hutař 2014-11-26 11:28:42 UTC
Description of problem:
There is invalid link to Help are on some package -> Target Systems -> Updates column (i.e.: /network/software/packages/target_system_list.pxt?pid=<pid>).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite-5.7.0-RHEL6-re20141125.0-x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Channels -> Manage Software Channels -> Manage Software Packages
   -> <some_package_details> -> Target Systems -> Updates column
   (i.e.: /network/software/packages/target_system_list.pxt?pid=<pid>)
2. Ensure you have some systems which are in Target Systems tab and are
   not checking to Satellite server
3. Check links in "Updates" column

Actual results:
There is an icon of computer screen with question mark in circle on it and link leads to https://<fqdn>/rhn/help/reference/en-US/s1-sm-systems.html#S3-SM-SYSTEM-LIST-INACT which leads to "Page Not Found" error page.

Expected results:
Link should not be there.

Comment 5 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2014-12-11 13:13:54 UTC
Failed QA

On sat570 compose re20141205, spacewalk-html-2.3.2-24.el6sat, the link is still there linking to https://<fqdn>/rhn/help/reference/en-US/s1-sm-systems.jsp

Comment 6 Tomas Lestach 2014-12-11 13:24:08 UTC
Right. But /rhn/help/reference/en-US/s1-sm-systems.jsp is available and is a valid help page.
What is the problem?

Comment 7 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2014-12-11 13:27:30 UTC
"Expected results:
Link should not be there."

Nobody argued about this so i take it THAT is the correct state of things. It might not be, I can verify the fix in that case.

Comment 8 Grant Gainey 2014-12-11 15:49:18 UTC
No, we need to lose all the context-sensitive help links - even if what they point to exists, it's often out of date - and may not continue to exist in the future. I'll take this and see if there are any other places where we embedded them into the page-bodies.

Comment 12 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2014-12-18 10:44:24 UTC
Verified.

The inactive system icon is no longer a link.
