RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2015:2183 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE libguestfs bug fix and enhancement update 2015-11-19 08:18:42 UTC

Description Richard W.M. Jones 2014-11-27 12:43:54 UTC
Description of problem:

This is a tracker bug to track fixes required in order to build a
RHEL 7.1 - based virt-p2v ISO for customers.

In the interim there are Fedora-based P2V ISOs available here:

http://oirase.annexia.org/virt-p2v/

Comment 3 Richard W.M. Jones 2015-01-23 15:49:49 UTC
Preliminary virt-p2v ISO built on RHEL 7.1 available here:
https://brewweb.devel.redhat.com/taskinfo?taskID=8619612

Comment 7 Richard W.M. Jones 2015-08-05 14:00:11 UTC
Not sure if I should put libguestfs or virt-p2v versions in
the Fixed-in-version field? In any case I'm hoping to add virt-p2v
to the erratum today, once the latest build has finished.

Comment 9 tingting zheng 2015-08-10 08:07:08 UTC
Tested with:
virt-p2v-1.28.1-1.49.1.el7

1.Search virt-p2v in brewweb,the latest virt-p2v build is virt-p2v-1.28.1-1.49.1.el7.

2.Install virt-p2v on host.
# yum install virt-p2v

3.On host,check whether virt-p2v has been installed.
# rpm -qa virt-p2v
virt-p2v-1.28.1-1.49.1.el7.noarch

# rpm -ql virt-p2v
/usr/share/virt-p2v-1.28.1-1.49.1.el7
/usr/share/virt-p2v-1.28.1-1.49.1.el7/virt-p2v-livecd-1.28.1-1.49.1.el7.iso

Refer to the above comments,virt-p2v has been built in brewweb and after install the build,a virt-p2v iso will show on host,so move the bug to VERIFIED.
