RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:
Boxes returns "GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: g_file_get_path: assertion 'G_IS_FILE (file)' failed" after RHEL 7.0 reboot after manual installation

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Boxes
2. Click on "New" and then on "Continue".
3. Click on "Select a file" and set ISO location.
4. Set "Express Install" to OFF and click on "Continue".
5. Check for correct informations about the box: System, Memory and Disk.
6. Click on "Create".
7. Manually install operating system.
8. Reboot

Actual results:
During reboot (for more information see backtrace in attachment):
(gnome-boxes:7835): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: g_file_get_path: assertion 'G_IS_FILE (file)' failed

Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap.

Expected results:
Box should boot into installer and after successful installation should reboot into installed operating system.

no error just info:
Boxes-Message: machine.vala:153: display Microsoft Windows 7 Professional disconnected

so fixed along the way to 3.14
