Description Andrew Dahms 2014-12-03 13:02:49 UTC
Create an article in Drupal outlining how to configure control policies in Red Hat CloudForms.

The article must cover the following points:

* What are control policies?
* What does creating a control policy entail?
* How can you create a control policy based on an event and action?
* How can you assign control policy to managed resources?

The currently envisioned outline is as follows:

Overview
A conceptual introduction that talks about control policies, and provides an overview of the task the user will perform. This section may contain diagrams and information that helps develop an understanding of the task.

Procedure
The actual steps required to configure control policies - only general options need be included.

A conclusion that provides a brief overview of what the user achieved, and a little information on what they can do next.

Hi Andrew,

I have finished drafting the article on "Configuring the Control Policies".

Shikha, Andrew said that it would be ok for me to jump in here with some technical comments. Content is overall good.

* I think you can remove "Deleting a Policy".
* At the end, you should have a sentence or two on what the next step is. In this case, "Once your policy is created, you can now add it to a Policy Profile. Then, the Policy Profile can be assigned to your Provider, Host, Virtual Machine,....
* Your last paragraph is "After configuring the Control Policies, you can configure the Compliance Policies. Compliance policies are used to harden your virtual infrastructure, making sure that your security requirements are adhered to." I'd remove this as Compliance Policies are independent of Control policies. It would certainly be useful to know what Compliance policies are, but I think that this would be confusing, here.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
