Description Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos 2014-12-04 11:17:09 UTC
According to that http://wiki.freeradius.org/project/Radiusclient that freeradius-client has superseded radiusclient-ng which as I understand it is no longer active. Shouldn't that package be updated to include freeradius-client instead?

Comment 1 Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos 2015-01-29 14:20:57 UTC
I am adding the freeradius-client library which replaces the radiusclient-ng-utils. Would you agree to retire radiusclient-ng-utils (but keep the radiusclient-ng libraries as long as required), so that I can add the new freeradius-client-utils?

Nikos, do you just want to take over maintenance of radiusclient-ng? I don't really have the time or interest in maintaining it. As long as Asterisk doesn't break I'm fine with you doing what needs to be done.

Comment 4 Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos 2015-02-11 08:01:56 UTC
Ok, I've now applied for access. I'll not modify the libraries, but rather the utils. Does asterisk really require this package (can't it use freeradius-client?).

Comment 5 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2015-02-11 15:33:02 UTC
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 6 Jeffrey C. Ollie 2015-02-11 15:35:46 UTC
I have no idea if Asterisk can use another library, it's likely that it can't. Other than seeing if it compiles I can't test Asterisk's RADIUS client.
