Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2014-12-12 14:34:24 UTC
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

Comment 5 Mike McCune 2015-01-19 15:25:39 UTC
WORKAROUND:

You can run a re-index command to clean up the extra subscription:

# foreman-rake katello:reindex

Comment 7 Pavel Moravec 2015-01-26 15:55:44 UTC
*** Bug 1148371 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

Same issue here (sfdc 01332743), workaround did not help to remove orphaned subscriptions.

Comment 10 Pavel Moravec 2015-01-29 20:51:03 UTC
Any idea why workaround could be failing for more customers?

Comment 14 Christine Fouant 2015-02-05 21:10:57 UTC
The commit reference in Comment 13 was not committed to GA release, it was pushed in on Oct 22, 2014.

Comment 18 jaudet 2015-02-11 21:17:24 UTC
Verified according to the procedure outlined in Comment 0. Verified against four Satellite 6.0.8 applications, two of which are running on RHEL 6.6, and two of which are running on RHEL 7.0.
