Description vvs 2004-03-05 11:19:51 UTC
Description of problem:

When I tried to rebuild kernel from source RPM with modutils-2.4.26-6
installed it failed with exit code 1 during kernel modules license check.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

kernel-2.6.3-1.118
modutils-2.4.26-6

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install modutils-2.4.26-6
2. rpmbuild --rebuild --target=i686 kernel-2.6.3-1.118.src.rpm

Actual results:

exit with code 1

Expected results:

It should complete

Additional info:

In previous versions of modutils "modinfo -l" returned license in
quotes, but in recent versions this behaviour has changed and now it
returns it without quotes. This breaks the test for missing or
incorrect license tags in kernel-2.6.spec (BuildKernel).
