See summarry How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a glusterfs storage domain 2. Create a VM using said domain 3. Run VM Actual results: qemu-kvm command uses mount point for VM's disk. Expected results: qemu-kvm should use glusterfs:// uri for disk. Additional info: This has been advertised as working on the wiki for a long time now. Think it is related to this: http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/33768/
Can I suggest therefore that this: http://www.ovirt.org/Features/GlusterFS_Storage_Domain#Current_Status_-_Feature_Complete_.21.21.21 Is modified to point out that it's not actually complete. Judging by various mailing list posts others have been led astray by this. Thanks
QEMU currently does not support more than one host element in the libgfapi element, will revisit when it does
(In reply to Tal Nisan from comment #2) > QEMU currently does not support more than one host element in the libgfapi > element, will revisit when it does Do we have a BZ to track this work in qemu/libvirt?
Yup - added
This bug was accidentally moved from POST to MODIFIED via an error in automation, please see mmccune with any questions
Based on discussion with Sahina, Ric, etc. - we can change the default - it's no worse than it is today, regardless of the libvirt limitation. We'd likely do it for 4.0.1 (post 4.0, but before 4.1). Assigning it to the Gluster team.
