Description Adrián Reboreda Martínez 2014-12-18 19:25:20 UTC
Description of problem:
Thunar does not open with default app when double clicking.
Using secondary click does not shows default app.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Thunar-1.6.3-5.fc21.x86_64
glib2-2.42.1-1.fc21.x86_64

How reproducible:
Yout need a file type with multiple handlers (eg. PDF)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Thunar
2. Secondary click over a PDF file
3. Properties
4. Select a different handler (such as GIMP if evince is selected or evince if GIMP is selected)
5. Close properties window
6. Open file with double click

Actual results:
Thunar open files with the old handler.

Expected results:
Thunar should change the handler and use it as a primary option

Additional info:
If you use right click and go to "Open with..." Thunar opens the file with the specified version.

This appears to be a bug with glib:

Launchpad has a patch to correct the bug.
