Description Peter Lemenkov 2014-12-19 14:25:39 UTC
Hello All!

i believe we should upgrade etcd to the recently released 0.5.0-alpha.5 (or even 2.0.0-rc.1) versions. Although they are considered experimental which could harm someone, there are lots of new stuff (etcdctl for example).

Comment 1 Lokesh Mandvekar 2014-12-19 18:23:07 UTC
This could also probably have a Provides: etcdctl

Though it's a separate upstream (github.com/coreos/etcdctl) it does come bundled up in etcd itself.

Comment 2 Lokesh Mandvekar 2014-12-19 18:23:43 UTC
aah I see Peter commented about that already, nvm.

Comment 3 Timothy St. Clair 2014-12-19 20:02:58 UTC
+1, etdctl is highly useful.

Comment 4 Jeremy Eder 2014-12-23 14:00:20 UTC
etcdctl from 2.0rc works fine against 0.4.6 for now.

Luke, thanks for giving me access. I'll update this

Hi Jeremy, Peter, Timothy,

can you check build of etcd [1] for me?

Thanks Lokesh for making the upgrade.

looks like it has etcdctl but where is /etc/etcd/etcd.conf ?
