Description of problem: A default installation of the Cinnamon desktop in F21 will use the Adwaita gtk-theme (Controls section of Themes dialog). This results in title bars that aren't correctly colored (so windows do not look active) and desktop icons with permanently black text that is unreadable on dark backgrounds (such as the default). Changing it a different gtk-theme, such as Zukitwo, causes the title bars and desktop icon text to render correctly. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.4.5-1 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install cinnamon-desktop group 2. Log into cinnamon Actual results: White title bars and black desktop icon text Expected results: Blue active title bars (in the Clearlooks default theme) and readable desktop icon text Additional info: I added a .gschema.override file to /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/ in order to set the default gtk-theme for Cinnamon to Zukitwo. It is currently being set to Adwaita in the file /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/cinnamon-fedora.gschema.override. Zukitwo gtk-theme has its own issues, primarily button borders (such as in the log-out dialog) not rendering correctly, but this seems far less problematic.

You will need to wait at least two weeks till I assimilate Zukitwo into my collective :p
