Somehow, the 0.94 package in F21 is unable to import MOV, MP4, webm, or basically anything that isn't ogg theora. You get a ton of tracebacks (below). The interesting thing is with the stable 0.94 release bundle obtained from the Pitivi website's download page, there are no such issues at all. Missing codec (gst plugins) dependencies? Borked GES? Or maybe gst libav? In the case of MOV files, it will seem to import the clips and to insert in the timeline but not insert them because of not-linked errors and various tracebacks.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 21 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 21.
