Hi, Note that I have raised upstream bug report: bug 743466 - core dump in wrap_register() when calling deprecated Glib::thread_init() https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=743466 It contains an analysis of the crash as well as a 1 line patch to fix glibmm 2.43.x. Thanks, Mike Fleetwood (GParted developer)
Looks like a fix is pushed for glibmm. Sorry I seem to have missed this report.
*** Bug 1197262 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Fix has not yet made its way into F22 [root@f22 nazgul]# dnf list installed glibmm* Using metadata from Sun Mar 1 23:59:36 2015 Installierte Pakete glibmm24.x86_64 2.43.3-1.fc22
Another user experienced a similar problem: Started gparted from Xfce start menu gparted failed to start resulting in this error reporter: libreport-2.4.0 backtrace_rating: 4 cmdline: /usr/sbin/gpartedbin crash_function: Glib::wrap_register executable: /usr/sbin/gpartedbin kernel: 4.0.0-0.rc1.git0.1.fc22.armv7hl package: gparted-0.21.0-1.fc22 reason: gpartedbin killed by SIGSEGV runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 0
I will get to this now that I am done with many of the other things I was doing. Sorry for the delay.
glibmm24 is on rawhide but on F22 it's on f22-gnome tag at the moment. could you give this build a try to see if you can start gparted? This seems to work for me. https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=9134729 If you prefer to wait, I can build on f22 and post that link once glibmm24 is available.

This will most likely not work on f22 (gcc-5, etc). let me build on f22 later. sorry for the noise.
