A remote denial of service (kernel crash) when batman-adv module is in use was reported at [1].

Statement:

This issue did not affect the versions of the Linux kernel as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 6, 7 and Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2, as they did not include support for the B.A.T.M.A.N. protocol.
