I can fix the first issue, but there is no schema for the jboss-web.xml file, so the second issue is dependent on Bug 1178925.

There was also an issue in the README file. Fixed that and the HTML warning in this commit: https://github.com/jboss-developer/jboss-eap-quickstarts/commit/75e47502f37593dd6d00bdfe1fd22f5c86b5cba0

The XML problem is dependent on bug 1178925.
