when picking cluster that doesn't allow json protocol the "Use JSON protocol" checkbox turns lock and the checkbox is not signed as should. when switching to another cluster that allows json the checkbox being signed automatically to use json but the field stays locked the checkbox itself should be enabled for updates.
There is a workaround, to move the host to maintenance, edit the host, check/un-check it, and move back to up. So, targeting to 3.5.1.
3.5.1 is already full with bugs (over 80), and since none of these bugs were added as urgent for 3.5.1 release in the tracker bug, moving to 3.5.2
