PPD file

I have a number of printers, most of them served by a single Fedora 21 machine running the latest cups package (cups-1.7.5-13.fc21.x86_64). Most jobs sent to most of the printers produce nothing at all in page_log. Any job sent through samba (which implies that it's a raw job, as I haven't figured out how to get windows to print properly) will log a line indicating a single page was printed.

Really I don't care about getting an accurate count of pages from samba jobs; that's something for another day. But I would really like to get some indication of who is printing at least to our main department printer, a laserjet M603, so I'll concentrate on it.

Cups connects to it via port 9100:
  socket://printer-644.e.math.uh.edu:9100
and has the model as:
  HP LaserJet 600 M601 M602 M603 Postscript (recommended)

I've attached the PPD. This printer is pretty active (and will be far more active once the semester starts), but if I do the following:
  grep rm644 /var/log/cups/page_log|grep -v smbprn
I get nothing at all.
