Doc Type: Enhancement
Doc Text:
The Object Expiration feature is now supported in Object Storage. This feature allows you to schedule deletion of objects that are stored in the Red Hat Storage volume. You can use the Object expiration feature to specify a lifetime for objects in the volume. When the lifetime of an object expires, it automatically stops serving that object and shortly thereafter removes the object from the Red Hat Storage volume.

Comment 1 SATHEESARAN 2015-01-09 10:40:40 UTC
Providing the qa ack for this bug, and the new feature - Object Expiration is already verified with RHS 3.0 Update3 RC builds

Comment 2 SATHEESARAN 2015-01-09 11:13:43 UTC
Object expiration feature is the only feature that came in as a new feature for RHS Object store in RHS 3.0 Update3.

New test plan is created for this feature available here - https://tcms.engineering.redhat.com/plan/15701/swiftonfile-object-expiration

This is the successful test run for this feature - https://tcms.engineering.redhat.com/run/208223/

Moving this bug to VERIFIED state as the testing is done
