Rajini,
let you track upstream progress on it and cinder.conf changes needed for it.
If we manage to have the same Dell driver to be able to handle both CMPL and EQL then you will need to file another bug for fixing EQL config in cinder puppet module.

No change in cinder puppet till CMPL driver is merged upstream.

Mike,
I targeted it to A2. If we need to target it to A1 for meeting JS-3.5 timeline, please, modify it.

Comment 6 Prasanth Anbalagan 2015-02-18 17:19:58 UTC
I do not see any deadlocks while testing with the following version,

[root@lynx13 ~(keystone_admin)]# yum list installed | grep openstack-cinder
openstack-cinder.noarch 2014.2.2-1.el7ost @RH7-RHOS-6.0

With eqlx_cli_timeout set to 1 second and forcing SSH timeouts, I tried several cinder commands and no deadlocks were observed. The same was tried with Tempest tests running in the background to create load on the system. Since no issues were observed under these scenarios, I'm moving the bug to verified.
