Description of problem:

JFreeChart javadoc rpm is missing html files. It only contains images.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
jfreechart-javadoc.noarch 0:1.0.14-10.fc20


How reproducible:
Just browse the directory after installing the package


Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install jfreechart-javadoc.noarch
2. rpm -ql jfreechart-javadoc-1.0.14-10.fc20.noarch
3. ls -l /usr/share/javadoc/jfreechart/

Actual results:
images directory only

Expected results:
Javadoc API files, i.e. html, css and images

I presume you need it for offline usage? I'll try to fix it as soon as possible, but it might take a while. If you feel like helping out and you need a fix very soon, feel free to post a patch and I'll push it.

Current work-around is to use the online upstream version[1] or packaged F21/rawhide versions.

Yes it is for offline usage. No rush, that's also why I set a low priority on this bug report.

I had a look at the source rpm but got stuck with finding the solution. The ant javadoc does not build the index tree html files and reports 2 errors. However, rpmbuild finishes building the rpm.

If I manually run the ant javadoc command on the tarball source tree it does not fail and creates the index tree html files as it should. I don't understand why. 

My guess is that there's something wrong with the ant build-classpath but I can't proof this.

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/rpminfo?rpmID=4266992 confirms that only images are there. A fix for it has been pushed. As it turns out javadoc gets confused by the non-UTF-8 character. Patching this out fixes the problem for me.

* was pushed to the Fedora 20 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing jfreechart-1.0.14-11.fc20'
as soon as you are able to.
