Description Niels de Vos 2015-01-16 12:57:09 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1182934 +++

Description of problem:
Package ship /var/run/gluster, but after a reboot, the folder is wiped, and rpm -Va show a error.

I think the policy mandate the use of a tmpfiles.d snippet for that.

$ rpm -qf /var/run/gluster
glusterfs-3.5.3-1.fc21.x86_64

REVIEW: http://review.gluster.org/9458 (build: add a tmpfiles.d config file for /run/gluster) posted (#2) for review on master by Niels de Vos (ndevos)

Comment 1 Niels de Vos 2015-01-19 09:02:03 UTC
http://review.gluster.org/9458 has been merged in the master branch, needs a backport to release-3.6.

Comment 2 Niels de Vos 2016-08-23 12:28:39 UTC
This bug is being closed as GlusterFS-3.6 is nearing its End-Of-Life and only important security bugs will be fixed. This bug has been fixed in more recent GlusterFS releases. If you still face this bug with the newer GlusterFS versions, please open a new bug.
