python-dateutil will be updated to version 2.x and there may be changes that affect this package. If supybot will work with the newer python-dateutil, you can safely close this bug. If supybot really does require python-dateutil 1.5, please use Requires: python-dateutil15 for Fedora versions of the package until it can be updated.
The latest commit to dateutil has exactly one change to setup.py, to amend dateutil requires to !=2.0 - and the master branch is also not bundling dateutil any longer: commit 2fda75e1b27235c7037606cfdbd9ec22f9172615 Author: James McCoy <vega.james> Date: Thu Jan 1 14:51:34 2015 -0500 Allow >= 2.0 versions of python-dateutil Signed-off-by: James McCoy <vega.james> It would be nice to have confirmation about individual supybot plugins, but it seems safe to infer that upstream is aware of the issues at hand and comfortable with dateutil as long as it is py2 friendly. I'm flagging for a release note so that users of myriad supybot plugin users will get some signal. Also, nothing in the supybot sources itself is actually importing dateutil - it's only there for the benefit of plugins.
