Description of problem: This feels like a regression wrt yum but maybe I am overlooking something. I installed a newer ghc-rpm-macros build locally and later when I tried to downgrade to the F21 version, dnf refused to do while yum was able to. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): dnf-0.6.3-2.fc21 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. sudo dnf install ghc-rpm-macros\* 2. sudo dnf --enablerepo=rawhide update ghc-rpm-macros\* 3. sudo dnf downgrade ghc-rpm-macros\* Actual results: 3. Error: package ghc-rpm-macros-extra-1.3.10-1.fc22.x86_64 requires ghc-rpm-macros = 1.3.10-1.fc22, but none of the providers can be installed Expected results: Downgrade with wildcard to work like yum does. Additional info: Workaround is to list also ghc-rpm-macros-extra explicitly but this can quickly get tedious if there are many subpackages to downgrade.
