I have no idea what you're trying to describe here.
Are you creating a disk or moving it?

Moving disk from ‘Disks’ tab, while having two kinds of domains(NFS/iSCSI)

Comment 3 Tal Nisan 2015-01-21 09:47:44 UTC
In the dialog itself there is a warning that some of the domains will be filtered according to the type, we can only know whether we are allowed to move according to the selection of the target domain in the dialog, no way of knowing it from within the tab

The above behavior is clear enough.
The action item for next version is not make a bad situation clearer, but better, by removing this restriction.

Hi Allon,
When trying to migrate disk from Disk sub tab located under vms tab there is a warning that:
"Note: Target domains are filtered by the source domain type (file/block)"

And when trying to migrate disk from Disks tab there is only one warning says:
" The following disks cannot be moved: <DISK_NAME>"

As the summery of this bug: "...should be marked the reason why we can not execute LSM operation", it will be much clear if the reason for this "CDA" will appear too ("Note: Target domains are filtered by the source domain type (file/block)").
