Description Andrew Dahms 2015-01-20 22:53:32 UTC
Minor changes to the live CD such as the channel used to access the live-cd-tools and boot splash screen have been made, and must be reflected in the article on setting up the installer using the live CD -

https://access.redhat.com/articles/1172383

The above article must be updated to include the latest UI and the channel for RHEL-OSP 6.0. Section 2 can be removed and the article reworded to outline the use case for booting a machine using the live CD and going to initial configuration from there instead of writing the image to disk. The channel name and boot splash screen capture should be listed side by side in a format similar to step alternatives.

This article and content in the installer guide has been removed for A1 on advice from DPM. Article is ready for A2 if necessary.

Adahms, what did you want to do about the article/this BZ? Is it okay to close this off?

Comment 5 Andrew Dahms 2015-06-25 01:39:14 UTC
Hi Dan,

Thank you for the needinfo request.

I can confirm that there are no plans at current to provide the live CD in a future minor release of OSP 6 - this bug can now be closed.

Kind regards,

Andrew
