This is a tracker bug for all bugs blocking the 3.5.2 release of oVirt.
May I ask to backport: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1133642 reasons for backporting: I think this is an expected feature, most machines tend to have lots of ram and 32 bit is legacy stuff. It's a small change, not affecting other components.
May I ask to add bug 1186687 as a dependency (already in MODIFIED state)? Just to be sure it will not be retargeted.
Martin, can you take a look at comment #1? Stefano, patch fixing bug #1186687 has been already merged in the 3.5 branch, you can already test it with latest nightly snapshot. Liron, worth to be marked as blocker?
(In reply to Sandro Bonazzola from comment #3) > Martin, can you take a look at comment #1? Hi Sandro, well https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1133642 is slated for 3.6 and it isn't even MODIFIED yet. (the posted patch right now solves different problem) After it is done we can start discussion whether we want this backported. Omer any thoughts?
i assume once we have it in master we could backport for 3.5, not sure will be on time for 3.5.2
Sandro, it can - i'm adding amureini to review that descision.
(In reply to Liron Aravot from comment #6) > Sandro, it can - i'm adding amureini to review that descision. Agreed, added to the blocker list.
Adding Bug 1196049 - [Rhel7.1] After live storage migration on block storage vdsm extends migrated drive using all free space in the vg. This bug is relevant to RHEL 7.1, Fedora 21, and maybe also Fedora 20 with virt-preview repository.

Yaniv, be sure to re-build VDSM before GA including the fixes for this.
AFAIK Comment 4,5,6 and 7 discussed my question if bz#1133642 could be added as a blocker and concluded to add it. however instead bz#1186687 was added as a blocker. could you clean this up please? or did I misunderstand the discussion? was it indeed over 1186687? if yes, please handle my request for adding 1133642 as a blocker. I need this feature ASAP. thanks in advance Sven
Hi, Could you please add https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1158108 for 3.5.2 It's marked for 3.5.3 but I believe the memory leak is a huge problem to be delayed... regards
ovirt 3.5.2 was GA'd. closing current release.
