There was problem with testing certificates in the test suite that expired few days back. This should be fixed in builds mysql55-mysql-5.5.41-2.el6 and mysql55-mysql-5.5.41-2.el7.

> There was problem with testing certificates ...

ahem, but this one is about EDH-RSA-DES-CBC-SHA cipher, not about certificates expiration - in this case, it helped to downgrade openssl to a version which has it enabled (maybe tweaking conf would do the job too, but downgrading before fix for bug 1057520 was just easier for me)

Sorry, you're right. So, in this case it seems to be the same problem as:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1122914#c3

which states:
"cypher EDH-RSA-DES-CBC-SHA is no longer available by default as it is insecure."

Red Hat does not currently plan to provide any further changes to this collection in a Red Hat Software Collections update release.

This software collection is nearing the retirement date (October 2016) after which customers are encouraged either to upgrade to a later release or continue on as self-supported without official Red Hat Support.

Please contact Red Hat Support if you have further questions, or refer to the support lifecycle page for more information. https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/rhscl/

Comment 10 Joe Orton 2017-03-31 15:02:02 UTC
In accordance with the Red Hat Software Collections Product Life Cycle, the support period for this collection has ended.
