It also contains a directory named default-configs with configs tested by Alan with JDG, so it is unclear what is the purpose of the configs in the main directory. I suppose they come from the jgroups jar, but it would be better to have them in a separate directory, possible with a readme that they contain example protocol configurations and shouldn't actually be used.
The following files are still present in infinispan-embedded-6.3.0.ER4-redhat-1.jar: jg-magic-map.xml jg-messages.properties jg-messages_de.properties jg-protocol-ids.xml jgroups-3.6.xml (this one could maybe be moved to the schema folder?)
Sorry, looking at the PR, leaving those files in seems to be intentional. Verified.
