Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2015:0702 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE new packages: spacewalk-final-archive and spacewalk-manage-channel-lifecycle 2015-03-19 13:14:14 UTC

Description Grant Gainey 2015-02-03 15:55:45 UTC
We would like to have a single tool that could be run on a satellite instance that would gather up all of the data available to that instance, prior to 'turning it off'.

Suggested functionality includes:

create an archive-location <spacewalk-final>
  postgres-backup into <spacewalk-final>/db_backup/
  spacewalk-reports into <spacewalk-final>/reports
  spacewalk-export into <spacewalk-final>/export
  spacewalk-debug into <spacewalk-final>/debug
  tar czvf <spacewalk-final>/../spacewalk_final.tar.gz <spacewalk-final>

Suggested name: spacewalk-final-archive

Suggested CLI switches:

spacewalk-final-archive
	--dir <archive-location>
	--no-db
	--no-reports
        --no-transition
        --no-debug
