Description Stefan Kutzke 2015-02-06 09:53:00 UTC
Description of problem:
A wrong link for package compare in software channel management results in a 404 error.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
spacewalk-java-2.2.126-1.el6.noarch

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "Channels" and click on "Manage Software Channels"
2. Select a channel and click on "Packages"
3. Click on "Compare Packages" below "Packages"

Actual results:
404 Error - File Not Found

Expected results:
Should open the next page to select a channel to compare to

Additional info:
A click on "Compare" in the second menu row works. There are different links, in my case:
1. "Packages" -> "Compare":
https://spacewalk.galaxy.virtual/rhn/channels/manage/ChannelPackagesCompare.do?cid=101
-> correct
2. "Packages" -> "Compare Packages":
https://spacewalk.galaxy.virtual/network/software/channels/manage/packages/compare/index.pxt?cid=101
-> wrong, should be the same link as above

All other links match each other:
1. "Packages" -> "List / Remove" has the same link as "Packages" -> "List / Remove Packages":
https://spacewalk.galaxy.virtual/rhn/channels/manage/ChannelPackages.do?cid=101
2. "Packages" -> "Add" has the same link as "Packages" -> "Add Packages":
https://spacewalk.galaxy.virtual/rhn/channels/manage/ChannelPackagesAdd.do?cid=101

This has been fixed back in Nov 2014. spacewalk-java-2.3.72-1 already contains followig fix ...

spacewalk.git: d6793c0bba4c9a53e2d6c7db2376226efa0caad2

Closing as CURRENTRELEASE, as the latest Spacewalk version contains the fix.

This BZ closed some time during 2.5, 2.6 or 2.7. Adding to 2.7 tracking bug.
