Fedora packagers are heavily overloaded with maintaining hundreds of packages each. If you want to see this package entering Fedora you would have to do the work. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers and http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_Review_Process for the process to do it.
Please note that this is in no way maven package bug so as a bare minimum don't open bugs against it.

As an additional note - please join #fedora-java on freenode do discuss what you plan to do and get in contact with people maintaining maven build system (this doesn't mean providing everything that's in repo.maven.org).

Comment 5 Sandro Bonazzola 2015-02-11 14:24:55 UTC
Alexander, sorry, maybe distribution would have been better?
Goal is to package ovirt-engine following fedora packaging guidelines as per bug #1168605 which has been set in "blocks" field on bug creation.

I wasn't asking to make the whole repo.maven.org available in Fedora, I asked 5 packages in total.

Now, I can understand you're all overloaded and if I'll be able to contribute a spec file I'll do. Maven is not in my competencies and knowledge area but we'll see what I'll be able to do and when.
