Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization does not appear in the JON discovery queue. The server is not being detected by the RHQ server. To work around this issue, open the product.conf file and change slot=dv to slot=eap. You only need to make this change once. Only make this change if you use JON.

This seems quite serious. I couldn't make the JON work on DV CR3 with the rebuilt plugins in BZ 1191911.

Attaching server logs. 

I can see the agent plugins installed [1]. I can also see started RHQ agent in the discovery queue. I can see the server running on the machine with the Agent. But the server is not being picked up by the RHQ Server - is not visible in the discovery queue.

Looks like this fix will have to come from the EAP management plug-in and its ProductType definition. Bug 1222625 was created to track the AS7 plug-in fix. 

In the end, this will require a new EAP plug-in pack update/patch build (and all plug-in packs which utilize AS7 plug-in). :(

Larry, I can still see this bug with the latest JON (and thus must use the workaround). 

I use JON 3.3.0 and I understand that all the fixes e.g. 1222625 have been merged into QA environment into latest 3.3.0

From your Comment 4 I understand that it is expected that this bug is not fixed yet and we need to wait for the new AS7 plug-in and JON update, correct?

Filip, correct. I am hoping to have the final build of the AS7 plug-in in the next day or two. Once I have the official build ready I will update this BZs status along with the DV plug-in pack update request.

The patch works, the JDV server shows up in the discovery queue.
