Description Rafael Chies 2015-02-23 18:45:24 UTC
It would be great create a REST method in order to allow users update a process instance variable value through REST API.

Comment 1 Marco Rietveld 2015-12-09 12:25:44 UTC
This is unfortunately contrary to the whole philosophy behind BPM.

If a variable value should be changed, it should be changed via the BPMN2 instances. Changing the value of the variable while the process engine does *not* know about it leads to complications and problems -- not to mention, that, again, this is against the whole BPM philosophy.
