Description syl 2015-02-24 15:11:10 UTC
"yum install NetworkManager-wifi" have to be used after a fresh install of Fedora Server 21 Minimal with no graphical environment. WiFi works only on a LiveCD during installation process and in Troubleshooting from LiveCD before chroot is used to fix this problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Fedora-Server-netinst-x86_64-21.iso
2. Install Fedora Server 21 minimal using Anaconda and WiFi
3. Reboot
4. WiFi USB stick will not work
5. WiFi USB stick starts after "ip link set <device_name> up" but still no WiFi network can be found

nmcli should simply ask for NetworkManager-wifi plugin to be installed.
